Terms of Service | Cinnabar Ink

1. 1.Nature of the service

   Cinnabar Ink designs, produces and delivers digital design files. We do not tattoo, we do not perform needling, and we give no medical or safety advice. Nothing here is medical advice.

2. 2.What a purchase contains

   An order contains the design files — stencil, reference render, bilingual story card. No physical goods and no tattooing service.

3. 3.Disclosure before purchase

   The interpretation, provenance, meaning and caveats of every pack design and every custom concept are published in full on this site before you order. Buying does not change that access — you are buying files, not information.

4. 4.Delivery and timing

   After payment the files are downloadable from your account; email is notice only. If a notice does not arrive, the same access is available from your account. Custom orders complete within 24 hours of submission. If we run past that for reasons outside our control, we say so by email rather than answering "it's being processed".

5. 5.Custom deposit

   Custom work starts with a $9 deposit. The deposit buys three original concepts; once you choose a plan, it is credited in full against the price. If the three concepts are not delivered, the deposit is refunded in full to the original payment method. Once the concepts are delivered, the deposit is not refundable. Running past 24 hours is not an automatic refund trigger — we email you the status instead. After you choose and pay the balance, the delivery and refund clauses apply.

6. 6.Refunds

   This page does not set refund terms. All refund conditions, deadlines and procedure are on the separate Refund Policy page, which carries equal force. This clause points; it does not agree to anything.

7. 7.Commercial use and resale

   The default licence is personal: being tattooed yourself, and execution by your own artist. Commercial use, resale, sharing and reposting in flash collections are not covered by the default licence.

8. 8.Intellectual property

   The designs are original artwork created by Cinnabar Ink — informed by form research into the public-domain motifs and design traditions of classical Chinese art. Copyright in the designs and the story-card text belongs to Cinnabar Ink. The hanzi glyphs in the artwork come from licensed typefaces and remain the property of their respective foundries. Provenance notices in the story card may not be removed or altered.

9. 9.Limitation of liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinnabar Ink is not liable for the outcome of tattooing. The needling relationship is between you and a licensed artist. Meaning verification follows standard Mandarin usage; dialect and archaic needs go through custom with written confirmation.

10. 10.Language and effect

    The English version governs. The Chinese version is provided for reading convenience. Where the two differ, English prevails.

In case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
